More information

Lenkkeri is part of the informal group of Finnish photographers known as The Helsinki School. Other photographers in the group include Heli Rekula, Niko Luoma, Elina Brotherus, Jorma Puranen and Ola Kolehmainen. They have all, in different years since the early 1980s, studied at the renowned Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture where they gained a conceptual and experimental approach to photography. The group has exhibited together, in different constellations, on several different occasions. Lenkkeri is represented at Moderna Museet, Stockholm, and Kiasma Museum of Contemporary Arts in Helsinki. He has exhibited at several art museums and art centres around Europe.
