From a Swedish Collector, Sture Larsson was a notable member of the Swedish Oriental Ceramics Society who formed his collection from the early 1950's an onwards. Thence by descent.
Previously in the Collection of Tage Grönwall (1903-1988). Grönwall was a Swedish diplomat who had a long career serving for the Swedish Foreign Ministry. He was stationed in Tokyo 1956-1962 and also in Soeul 1959-1962.
