Carrying the vase containing the nectar of long life, with the ashoka tree coming out from the top. Height 24,4 cm.

During the Qing dynasty many similar statues of Amitayus were made, since it was believed that the merit gained by giving and commissioning multiple images increased the life of both donor, and the person it was given to.
