Bukowskis presents the catalogue for this spring’s live auction Important Timepieces, an auction dedicated to the most coveted and exclusive collector’s watches. The auction features over 120 timepieces, spanning from the late 19th century to the present day, and includes both wristwatches and pocket watches from the world’s leading manufacturers such as Patek Philippe, A. Lange & Söhne, Rolex, Audemars Piguet, Cartier, and Vacheron & Constantin.

Among the highlights are a highly sought-after Rolex Daytona “Big Red” reference 6265, an early Audemars Piguet Royal Oak reference 5402, and several examples of the iconic Patek Philippe Nautilus, including the steel reference 5711. The auction also features multiple generations of the Patek Philippe Aquanaut, including the Travel Time.

Additionally, you will find a rare Perpetual Calendar by Daniel Roth, an exclusive Rolex Oysterquartz in white gold, a Rolex Day-Date with an onyx dial, as well as two rare A. Lange & Söhne Lange 1.

A guide for buyers – How to bid


Participating online is easy – You can bid in advance by placing an absentee bid online or live online in real-time during the auction. Choose an option that fits you. Read more about the options below.

Register with one click – please note that if you are an online customer you need to register for live auctions to be able to bid at the auction. Absentee bidding (online or written form)

If you are a verified live auction customer and logged into your account, you can place an online absentee bid up to 15 minutes before the lot is hammered. Simply find the lot you wish to bid on and enter your maximum bid in the “Place your bid” field, after this Bukowskis will bid on the item for you.

You may also send in a written absentee bidding form to our customer service. Click here to download the absentee bidding submission form and send the filled out form to info@bukowskis.com.

Bid live online in real-time

If you are a verified live auction customer and logged into your account, you can participate online in real-time during the auction. Find the auction you want to participate in and click “Join the live auction”, and you will be directed to Bukowskis’ live auction streaming page. The lot being sold is shown on the screen – so keep an eye out for the lot you wish to bid on. After this, you can place your bid in the “Place your bid” field.

Bidding by phone

If you prefer to bid by telephone, one of our specialists can call you directly from the salesroom and bid on your behalf. Simply fill out the telephone bidding application form and send it to telephonebid@bukowskis.com by 8 PM on the day before the auction. Please specify the catalogue number, your full name, address and telephone number(s) where you can be reached during the auction.

Bid in the auction room

If you wish to bid live in person in the salesroom, you can register at Bukowskis, Arsenalsgatan 2 in Stockholm from 10 AM on the day of the auction. For more information, please contact our customer service: info@bukowskis.com.

Please note: To submit a bid exceeding 3 million SEK, we may require a special approval based on bank reference. Please send an email to validation@bukowskis.com in order to be approved for bidding on this level.

Payment, collection and transport

Payment

Payment must be made within 8 working days after the auction ends. You can find information on how to pay for your items under ”My Pages”. Payment can also be made during ongoing auctions at the premises on Arsenalsgatan 2, by Berzelii Park. (please note that we do not handle cash).

Collect

Arsenalsgatan 2 – Welcome for in-person collection of auction purchases at Arsenalsgatan 2, April 15–17 April and, April 22. Unfortunately, we cannot offer pickup at Arsenalsgatan 2, during the period of April 23–28.

Västberga Allé 3 – Starting Tuesday, April 29, you are welcome to Bukowskis, Västberga Allé 3, to collect your auction purchase.

Please note that from May 7 onwards, a storage fee of 50 SEK per item per day will be charged. Bukowskis requires full payment for your item before collection can take place.
