More information

The Patek Philippe Nautilus ref. 5711 has emerged as one of the most prominently discussed horological creations over the past decade, debuting under the Patek Philippe marque in 2006. While the Nautilus lineage originated in the mid-1970s with the renowned ref. 3700, it is only in recent times that the model has ascended to the status of an icon for the decade, garnering global acclaim that has witnessed exponential growth in recent years.

Notably, the blue dial ref. 5711 was discontinued from production in 2021 (the white dial was discontinued 2020), making way for a limited edition with a distinctive green dial, which was available for just one year. Responding to this transition, Patek Philippe introduced the new ref. 5811/1G-001 in white gold, featuring a slightly enlarged case and a novel extendable clasp mechanism. This development keeps the Nautilus legacy alive while introducing a touch of innovation into the collection. This piece is equipped with the first movement that the ref. 5711 had – Cal. 315.
