Four ways to bid – choose the option that is most convenient for you:

Absentee bidding (online or written form)

If you are a verified live auction customer and logged into your account, you can place an online absentee bid up to 15 minutes before the lot is hammered. Simply find the lot you wish to bid on and enter your maximum bid in the “Place your bid” field, after this Bukowskis will bid on the item for you.

You may also send in a written absentee bidding form to our customer service. Click here to download the absentee bidding submission form and send the filled out form to info@bukowskis.com.

Bid live online in real-time

If you are a verified live auction customer and logged into your account, you can participate online in real-time during the auction. Find the auction you want to participate in and click “Join the live auction”, and you will be directed to Bukowskis’ live auction streaming page. The lot being sold is shown on the screen – so keep an eye out for the lot you wish to bid on. After this, you can place your bid in the “Place your bid” field.

Bidding by phone

If you prefer to bid by telephone, one of our specialists can call you directly from the salesroom and bid on your behalf. Simply fill out the telephone bidding application form and send it to telephonebid@bukowskis.com by 8 PM on the day before the auction. Please specify the catalogue number, your full name, address and telephone number(s) where you can be reached during the auction.

Bid in the auction room

If you wish to bid live in person in the salesroom, you can register at Bukowskis, Arsenalsgatan 2 in Stockholm from 9 AM on the day of the auction. For more information, please contact our customer service: info@bukowskis.com.

Please note: To submit a bid exceeding 3 million SEK, we may require a special approval based on bank reference. Please send an email to validation@bukowskis.com in order to be approved for bidding on this level.

Placing a bid on a quality auction online
Read through the description of the item and note the town from which it will be transported before placing your bid. You will have two chances to confirm your purchase. Remember that all bids are binding.

Maximum bid
You can also state a maximum amount you want to bid for the item. Every time a new customer places a new bid, a new bid will be made on your behalf, in the smallest possible increments, with your maximum bid as the ceiling. You can choose to be notified by e-mail or via a push message to your iPhone if you have our app installed, if you are not the top bidder on an item on which you have bid.
