Manufacturers such as Arvid Böhlmarks Lampvarufabrik, Nordiska Kompaniet, Bröderna Malmströms Metallvarufabrik and Asea are all represented with several sought-after and for their time pioneering and trendsetting models. See selected highlights below.

Hans Bergström

Although Hans Bergström's “cage lamps” were manufactured extensively during the 1940s, they rarely reach the market today, and the present model "5A" is probably the most sought after in the genre and something of a holy grail in this context. Executed in beige-lacquered metal wires with plant ornaments in brass wire on faint yellow so-called "cello discs", inner globe in faint green-tinted/white glass and suspension in elm.

Carl-Axel Acking

One of architect Carl-Axel Acking's main contributions to the art of lighting is the model "2645" floor lamp manufactured by Bröderna Malmströms Metallvarufabrik in Malmö. The design collaboration began when the company received the prestigious commission to manufacture and supply all the lighting for the Swedish pavilion at the World's Fair in New York in 1939. Three elegant and characteristic screens in perforated brass sit on a leather-wrapped pillar. A rare and, in recent years, enormously sought-after fixture.

Erik Tidstrand

Interior architect Erik Tidstrand's functionalist lighting fixtures of the 1930s are among the best of the time. The ceiling lamp with model number "28903" with its nickel-plated and lacquered shades was launched in the middle of the decade and, with its 70 cm, belongs to one of the larger models of ceiling lamps and a true gem of its time.

Asea

Allmänna Svenska Elektriska Aktiebolaget (ASEA) was decisive for Swedish electrotechnical industry during the 20th century. The company's lighting fixtures have historically stood in the shadows of other Swedish manufacturers, despite the fact that some of the company's models stands out as particularly good representatives of Swedish lighting fixtures during the Swedish Modern style period of the 1940s. The present model "A5000" is probably one of the company's greatest achievements in the context of lighting and something of a design-historical sensation that Bukowskis proudly presents here. Executed with a brass frame, with its curved arm partially covered in braided leather, profiled fitting, brass screen with toothed edge.

Harald Notini

Arvid Böhlmarks Lampfabrik's multifaceted artistic director Harald Notini confidently and accurately followed the stylistic changes during the first half of the 20th century. One of his main contributions to functionalistic lighting of the 1930s is the nickel-plated and lacquered table lamp with model number "15238", with an adjustable shade characteristic of the time.
