MÄRTA MÅÅS-FJETTERSTRÖM, MATTO, "Ryttmästarens matta", knotted pile, ca 308,5 x 230,5 cm, signed MMF.
Woven before 1942, The pattern was designed for Domkapitlet in Lund, in the south western part of Sweden. One "Ryttmästarens matta" was designed in 1937 for Svensk Hemslöjd. (Rare).
Some partly harder wear, dirty, stains, large mothdamages, holes. One end has fold wear and minor damages, reduced ends, later fringes, most of the fringes are missing.
