The Rolex GMT-Master II reference 16710 was introduced in the late 1980s as an evolution of the original GMT-Master. It features a slimmer case design and is powered by the caliber 3185 movement, which includes an independently adjustable hour hand – a practical function for tracking multiple time zones.
This example, produced around 1997, is fitted with a red and black aluminum bezel insert, commonly referred to as the “Coke” bezel. It has a black dial with luminous hour markers and a 24-hour hand for dual-time functionality.
