A jeweled gold pendant locker, with a cigarette holder, St. Petersburg 1908-1917.
Shaped as an acorn, the top set with rose-cut diamonds opens to reveal a flexible cigarette holder. All parts marked with city, Cyrillic makers initials: V.G. [в.г.] and 56 standard. Length 3,5; total length of the holder 5,5 cm, weight 23,5 gram.

The workmaster initials may be that of the jeweler and goldsmith Vladimir Gordon, active in St Petersburg from 1890s-1917. He collaborated with Bolin and Fabergé and was purveyor to Grand Duchess Olga Aleksandrovna and Prince Petr Aleksandrovich of Oldenburg.
