Signed in a star in the inner border: the weaver Ghalibafian va Mahmoud Jabarzadeh. An ivory ground with polychrome hunting scenes with huntsmen on horses, predators, deer, a dog, a bird, a bear, flowers and trees. At the top three cartouches with inscriptions: poetry from Omar Khayyam's poetical work Rubaijat which is about "Bahram Gor"/"Bahram the onager", the fifth king (shah) of the Sasanian Empire, who ruled the Empire from 420 to 438. A wide burgundy main border with large birds, palmettes, minor flowers and vines.
Some wear, dirty, large partly stiff stains. The sides and ends have fold wear and damages.
