Hanna Hansdotter has emerged as one of our most interesting glass artists of today. She is based in her studios in Kosta and Boda and has participated in a variety of exhibitionss, including, Richard Heller Gallery (LA), Galleri Hantverket and The Glassery in Stockholm. Her graduation exhibition "Avtryck" at Konstfack 2017 became the start of a new expressive design concept. Her striving to create decorative and tactile patterns in glass began here, and since then she has created a series, "Fading Prints", of sculptural glass objects that have been much appriciated. "Fading Prints" is a series of glass sculptures based on ornamentation and abstraction. The tecnique is an interpretation of the traditional mould blown glass where the objects swell between the individually shaped iron mills.
Hansdotter became the star of the year at the Elle Decoration Design Award 2018. Hanna Hansdotter is represented at the National Museum Collection in Stockholm. The auction's two items are the largest she has ever done.
