Written on silk brocade with a cloud and crane pattern-ground mounted as a handscroll, the text arranged in standard form in Manchu and Chinese characters, the Chinese text opening with a four-character title, Fengtian gaomin, 'By the Command of Heaven', flanked by a pair of dragons, followed by a long text and ending with the date Tongzhi yuan nian corresponding to 1862, stamped with a seal impression besides it Manchu transliteration within a square, continuing with further Manchu text (scroll ends missing). 31,8 x 480 cm.
Wear to brocade and calligraphy, some stains and minor defects. Wear and small damages to edges of brocade. The fabric have apparently been strengthen with glue (the surface coarse and the fabric appears slightly stiff).
