An Armorial dinner plate with the Swedish arms of Ribbing-Piper, Qing dynasty, Qianlong (1736-95).
Decorated in blue and gold. Diameter 23 cm.

Alkuperä - Provenienssi
Arms acolle for Governor Bengt Ribbing af Koberg (1686-1741) and Countess Ulrika Elinora Piper (1698-1754). The couple got married in 1718, and Bengt Ribbing was elevated to Count in 1731. The service is one of the first commissioned throught the SOIC.
