Auction highlights from Important Timepieces

Important Timepieces - an auction dedicated to the most desirable and exclusive collector's watches.

The spring edition of Important Tiempieces presented a carefully curated selection of collector's watches from the world's leading manufacturers. Highlights from the live auction included a very rare Rolex Submariner "King Sub" reference 6200, the first tourbillon wristwatch from Vacheron & Constantin, as well as an exceptional Bovet Virtuoso VII Perpetual Calendar

"King Sub"

There are many sought-after Rolex Submariners but only one known by collectors as the "King Sub" - reference 6200 - an international rarity which, after lively bidding, sold for a final price of 675 000 SEK. Other highlights from Rolex included a 1971 Submariner, a 1975 Sea-Dweller “Double red mark IV”, a 1979 Rolex Datejust and a Lady-Datejust "King Hassan" from 1978, which sold over six times the asking price for a final price of 525 000 SEK.

Neo-Vintage

The auction offered an interesting lineup of neo-vintage from the 90s. One of the highlights was a Vacheron & Constantin "First Tourbillon" from 1994, the first tourbillon wristwatch from the manufacturer.

The auction also included a first-generation Omega Railmaster and a Lemania TG195 "Tre kronor" from 1954, specially developed for the Swedish military.

Patek Philippe, Bovet & Omega

Additional highlights included a Bovet Virtuoso VII with perpetual calendar, which sold for a final price of 438 000 SEK, several Nautilus references from Patek Philippe and an Omega Seamaster 600 “PloProf” which exceeded expectations.
