Sensational result of SEK 21.2 million for this spring's Important Timepieces
Bukowskis' internationally acclaimed watch auction, Important Timepieces, is Scandinavia's largest and most prominent auction for collectors' watches. Tonight's auction is the most successful ever at Bukowskis. The auction ended with an outstanding result of a total sale of SEK 21.2 million.
– The watch market is enormously strong, and Bukowskis has once again reached new levels, as the auction's total sales landed at just over 20 million SEK. It was sensational when we were the first in the Nordics to reach sales of 10 million SEK with a White Glove Sale. Tonight's result is a similar milestone and something we are excited about, says Carl Palmegren, Head Specialist Watches.
The auction also featured the most expensive watch sold at Important Timepieces - Patek Philippe, Nautilus, chronograph, which sold for a final price of 2'389'000 SEK. The auction consisted of 129 exclusive watches, with an average price of 189'600 SEK.
– Bukowskis' final prices are on an international level. This great auction attracted collectors on the highest level worldwide at the absolute, says Simon Naeslund, Specialist Watches.
Scandinavia's leading auction for watches continues to manifest its leading position with increased international interest.
