This season's first Live auction resulted in a success for international and Swedish works by artists such as Olle Bærtling, Henri Laurens, Lynn Chadwick, Jean Tinguely, Wifredo Lam, and Bjarne Melgaard to name a few. A collection that attracted bidders globally at international high final prices.
– We saw a high demand to acquire a work from this Fine Art collection, which included Swedish and international paintings, sculptures, and design. The provenance Olle Emanuelsson contributed to the fantastic final prices, he was a well-known profile within the art scene and collected for a long time. There were works in all price ranges, and it was exciting that Olle Bærtling's ”NULY”, which was in unusually good condition and doubled its estimate, says Lena Rydén, Head of Art, specialist in Modern Art.
› The auction resulted in this season's first lot sold over 1 million SEK. Olle Bærtling's work ”NULY” sold for a final price of SEK 1,976,250.
