Modellen formgiven av Ferdinand Boberg. Gustav V skänkte priser vid olika tävlingar. Boberg och Heurlin ritade tre olika modeller med kronor i relief på livet. En förgylld pokal delades ut som hederspris vid en ryttartävling i Malmö 1915.
