Originally with more sculptures of reeds, four of five reeds with major damages, the fish with small chip to the back, some damaged pieces included.

The sculpture has been executed in two pieces, the first one was made to order for Nya Wermlands Tidning.
Kjell Engman is a Swedish glass artist born in Stockholm 1946. He studied at Konstfack (University of Arts, Crafts and Design) and at Pilchuck, USA. Since 1978, Engman has been a designer at Kosta Boda. His glasswork is characterized by vibrant colors and playful shapes. His design language often deals with musical instruments and motifs from the animal and plant kingdoms. He frequently works on larger installations where glass is combined with elements such as sound and light. Kjell is widely commissioned for public art projects both in Sweden and internationally. He has an incredible ability to freeze time and immortalize moments of movement in glass.
