Provenance
Kurt Ekholm designed the vase during his internship at the Swedish porcelain manufactory Rörstrand in 1931. Later, the vase was turned into a lamp stand and placed in Ekholm's private home on Vuorimiehenkatu in Helsinki. The electric parts have been removed from the vase after Ekholm moved to Sweden in 1948.
