Scalloped rim with printed decoration in blue. Central motif featuring an Arctic landscape with a dog sled and Inuit people. The rim decorated with flowers, birds, as well as a leopard and a cheetah. Stamped "Arctic Scenery" on the underside. Length 39.5 cm.
Crazed glaze. Discolouration. Some manufacturing defects.

The motif is inspired by Sir William Parry's, officer in the Royal navy, Arctic expeditions during the 1810s and 1820s.
