A vase/tablelamp, China, Qing dynasty, laterpart ofthe 19th century.
Raised neck, small handles in the form of Buddhist lions. Decorated with enamel colours featuring motifs of birds, flowers, and butterflies, as well as figural scenes in a palace setting. A textile-covered lampshade is included. Height of the vase 38.5 cm, height including the lampshade 50 cm.
The vase has a shortened neck and has been converted into a table lamp, with drilled hole. Not tested for functionality. Minor chips. Minor wear and chips.
