A pair of Danish silver salt cellars by Henrik Christian Stockfleth, Copenhagen 1830, and a toddy ladle, London 1801

Internally gilded, footed salt cellars. Maker's mark ST for Stockfleth, Danish year mark Copenhagen 1830, control master’s mark Jacob Graah Fabritius, month mark 18 February - 20 March. Width 8 cm, height 6.5 cm. Weight 144 g excluding the glass liners.

Punch ladle by John Merry, with an inset medallion depicting George III, gilded bowl, twisted wooden handle. Length 29 cm. Engraved inscription on the underside: "Presented to William Owers by his Uncle William Grimwade. 1812".

Wear due to age and use. The ladle with a minor repair in the detachment.
