Frame of stained oak. Carved decoration of acanthus and volutes. Lion's paws. Upholstered and covered in plush.
The sofa's length is approximately 205 cm, seat height 45 cm.

Wear. Damages. Stains.

Provenance

Purchased by the von Post family from Ivar Kreuger's estate at Villagatan. The von Post family bequeathed their property to Uppsala University, which auctioned off the furnishings from Äs Castle. Thereafter, it was inherited within the family until the most recent sale at Bukowskis in 2017.
