A Dutch Sweat-Meat Silver Bowl, probably 18th Century
Possibly low content silver. Oval with chased decoration of large gadroons, on a retracted foot with similar decoration, profiled rim and a folding handle. Engraving.
Without silver purity marks, but with a tax mark for locally made silver on the bowl and handle.
Length 16.7, width 13, height with handle 17.5 cm. Weight 170 grams.
