Leaf-shaped dish with handle, 25 cm.
6 plates with pierced rim, 24.5 cm.
6 plates, 24.5 cm (all are second quality).
11 deep plates with pierced rim, 21 cm (3 are second quality).
9 starter plates with pierced rim, 21.5 cm.
12 side plates, 17.5 cm.
6 tea cups with saucers, saucers' diameter 17 cm (one saucer is second quality).
12 coffee cups with saucers, saucers' diameter 13.5 cm.
A pair of candlesticks, 13 cm.
Sugar bowl with lid, diameter 9.5 cm (second quality).
Not first quality. A few miniscule chips. Minor wear.
Designer
Bing & Grøndahls porcelain factory was established in 1853 in Copenhagen. Their earlier production consisted mostly of figurines, but in the 1880s began to artistically design tableware and stoneware. After 1987 the factory became part of the Royal Copenhagen company. One of the most famous tableware sets is the Måge set, or Måsen, created by Fanny Garde, which during the 1950s was promoted as Denmark’s national tableware.
