Koishi Futatsumata, "Kiulu" bench for Arte, 21st century

Koichi Futatsumata, born in 1975 in Kagoshima, is one of the founders of the design firm Case Real, which currently operates in both Fukuoka and Tokyo. The company is active in fields such as furniture design and architecture. Futatsumata's designs are represented in the permanent collection at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and have also been exhibited at the Design Museum in London and at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris.
