Cast iron and brass. The firescreen "The Castle is Burning" was designed by Prince Carl Philip and Eric Ericson in 2010. The firescreen depicts the Tre Kronor castle in silhouette and is made of cast iron with brass details at Lyrestads foundry for Svenskt Tenn. Length 60, width 15, height 43 cm.

Designer

Ericson works as a writer, publisher, designer and artist. Ericson's breakthrough as a writer came in 2003 with the book 'Brev till samhället'. Among other things, he has designed products for Svenskt Tenn and the interior design at Brasserie Godot in Stockholm.
