Painted and bronzed. Shell-shaped tabletop supported by three legs in the form of dolphins. Circa 51 cm diameter, height circa 74 cm.

The term 'Grotto' furniture was coined among the European nobility who constructed pavilions and grottos adorned with shells during the 18th and 19th centuries.
