The Swedish colony St. Barthelemy

A collection of 2 books and 11 regulations, decrees etc concening the Swedish colony of St. Barthelemy in the West Indies. The books are the first separate book on the island, by Sven Dahlman, 1786, in contemporary grey boards with stamps from Lund Cathedral School, NB - lacking the engraved map, and the first German edition of Bengt Anders Euphrasén’s book on his journey to St. Barthelemy, with an engraved plate, in lightly worn contemporary half calf with bookplate and stamp of Göta Coldinu-orden. The pamphlets include a few duplicates and are usually fine, despite a few stains, some edgewear etc.
