A set of six late Gustavian chairs, Lindome circa 1800.
Gray-painted chairs with bronzed details. A pair with a loose, padded seat. Four examples with a fixed, padded seat. Decoration includes, among other things, scale carving and a crowning hop twig. Most with coupled, fluted legs. Four examples with a pierced back panel of coupled spindles. A pair, similar, with a pierced so-called "Gunnebo panel".
Cracks between joints. Worm-eaten. Later painting. Colour losses. Cracks due to dryness of the material.
