Malene Müllertz is a Danish ceramist born in 1949. She was educated at the School of Arts and Crafts in Copenhagen from 1966 to 1970 and then continued at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts' School of Design from 1973 to 1975. Malene Müllertz subsequently worked at Bing & Grøndahl during various periods. She is inspired by other cultures as well as different forms of art, such as architecture and sculpture. She has her studio just outside Copenhagen. Malene Müllertz's shapes are among the most original in contemporary Danish ceramics.
