Stolarna beställdes av byggmästare G. Albert Gustafsson, Geijersgatan 3A, Göteborg till sin dotter Brittas vugsel med civilingenjör Thord Lundgren 1951. Enligt uppgift är de tillverkade av en stolsmakare i Alingsåstrakten. Sedan i arb till sonen Claes-Göran Lundgren.
