Artist

Eino Kauria (1903–1997) was a Finnish decorative artist, known for his decorative paintings and wood inlays. He studied at the School of Industrial Art and took study trips to Europe and the United States. Kauria designed several significant works, such as the color scheme for Paimio Sanatorium, the ceiling paintings in Viinikkas Church in Tampere, and the color design for Bio Rex in Lasipalatsi. He won the Grand Prix at the 1937 Paris World Exposition.
