Two architect caricatures by Isaac Grünewald
Two portraits / caricatures: Ivar Tengbom and Ragnar Östberg.
The leaves 36 x 22.5 cm, slightly worn with folds and wear to edges, Östberg's portrait with tear. Tengbom's portrait with dedication:”Till Ivar Tengbom från vännen Isaac Grünewald 27.9.37”, Östbergs signerat ”Grünewald”.
Isaac Grünewald did murals in two of Tengbom's building projects, partly in Lilla Salen (now Grünewaldsalen) in the Concert House and shortly later in Tändstickspalatset, both in Stockholm. He also did murals in Villa Bonnier (1927), designed by Ragnar Östberg.
