No. 7. "A bird sings at dawn among big leaves". Tyra Lundgren: "This large group of leaves is one of the preparatory works for a larger relief Dawn that was set up in the entrance of Danderyd hospital (Stockholm). The enormous power of hair growth that drives trunks and stems straight up from the earth always fascinates me a lot. All around my summer workplace, huge sunflowers grow and stock of monumental bunches of horseradish. Sometimes I amuse myself by folding large, thin layers of clay into something in between abstract sculptures and large leaf-shaped bowls. The leaf group has been included in my large solo exhibition at Galerie Blanche and in a group exhibition at Liljevalchs Konsthall."
