Two porcelain portraits, Czar Alexander I of Russia and Elizabeth Alexeevna, Dihl, Paris, early 19th century.

Oval miniature paintings of the Czar and his spouse, Princess Louise of Baden, after E. Vgiée Le Brun's paintings from 1801.
Original Empire style frames ca. 17,3x13 cm, porcelain 21x17 cm, both signed by the Dihl manufacturer.
Text to the left, partially hidden under the frames: "Duchesse..." on Elizabeth Alexeevna's and, presumably, "Duke" on Alexander's portrait.

Two twisted decorations loose. A wooden part in each frame missing. Wear due to age and use.
