William Gislander var en svensk bildkonstnär född i Fleninge, Skåne. Han studerade för Nils Forsberg i Helsingborg samt vid Tekniska skolan i Köpenhamn. Gislander är främst känd för att ha målat stämningsfulla landskap med fåglar, främst hämtade från södra Sverige, Färöarna och Danmark.

Artist

William Gislander was a Swedish artist born in Fleninge, Skåne. He was a student of Nils Forsberg in Helsingborg and studied at the Technical school in Copenhagen. Gislander is most widely known to have painted stimulating landscapes with birds, often inspired by the South of Sweden, Färöarna and Denmark.
