Paris, M. de Porta, 1535. 8vo. 16 x 10,5 cm. 78 pp.

Later full vellum, covers slightly warped, ownership inscription to front free endpaper partly crossed out and bookplate removed, old oval stamp on verso of title: “Stabilimento Agostino in Bologna”, a few marginal stains, and wormholes, occasional annotations.

Rare. Editions were printed in the same year by both Estienne and Girault. Provenance: Reiss & Sohn.

“The second title in Charles Estienne's series of children's books; this one deals with ancient Roman vessels, containers, dishes, vases, and receptacles” (Schreiber 51).
