A Chinese bronze tripod censer, early 20th century.
On tripod legs, flanked on each side with pierced cast lion-head handles cast in high relief and a shaped aperture on one one side, decorated with round pierced cartouches enclosing foliage and incised on the body with auspicious objects. A calligraphy reading: still in the early summer of Jiashen year 1704, made by Wang Zihuai in Gu Su. Height 10,5 cm, diameter 16 cm.
Wear, minor scratches, marks, minor tarnish.
