Rolf Adlercruetz is a Swedish photographer. He trained at Christer Stömholm’s School of Photography school between 1962 – 64 and was active in London as a freelance photographer for the Swedish press between 1967 to 71. Adlercruetz was the CEO and photographer at Fotografernas SALT (Sjöberg, Adlercreutz, Löfgren & Tunbjörk). from 1979 to 1983, and then at Stockholms-Tidningens Bildbyrå SALT from 1983 to 1984. Since 1984, he has run his own business. During his career, he has received numerous awards, including:
Honorary award in Årets bild 1984 as Press Photographer of the Year. Tidningen Vi's Illustrator Prize in 1990 (shared with Claes Löfgren). Winner of the Trade Union Press Journalist Award for Best Photo Reportage in 1999.
Solo exhibitions: "On Tour with Thin Lizzy 1979" showcased at Galleri London in Uppsala in 2012, Galleri Kontrast in Stockholm, the Camera Museum in Vadstena, Galleri MONO in Frösön, and during Årets Bild Week in Trollhättan, all in 2013. "Along the Norrtälje River", Wallinska Galleriet in Norrtälje, 2014.
