Export of cultural objects

NOTE! According to the Swedish Act on Restrictions to the Export of Cultural Objects (1988:950), export license is required for the export of certain cultural objects from Sweden. According to the Finnish Act on Restrictions to the Export of Cultural Objects 115/1999, export license is required for the export of certain cultural objects from Finland to other Member States of the European Union and for the export from the territory of the Community. In addition to what is prescribed in these Acts, the provisions of Council Regulation (EEC) No 3911/92 on the export of cultural goods shall be in force regarding the export of cultural objects from the European Community. It is the Customers responsibility that these permits are obtained.
