An Apulian red-figured Hydria, probably circa 350-330 B.C.

With a large vase in added white within an Ionic naiskos, on both sides, standing female figures wearing chiton and himation, beaded necklace and bracelets, her hair bound in a sakkos; a band of meander and dotted squares below, a spray of laurel centered by a rosette on the neck, ovolo on the rim, an elaborate palmette complex framing the handles, details in added white and yellow. Height 48 cm.

Restored, has been in several pieces, added to. Screw to base.
