Various motifs, underglaze blue decoration.
A pair, octagonal shape, 9 x 10 cm.
A pair oval, length 16.5 cm.

The minor dishes with glaze spots and stains. Wear due to age and use.

Provenance

From the collection of Ambassador Osmo Lares (1926-2025)
Osmo Lares was a distinguished Finnish diplomat who devoted his career to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. His early postings took him to Prague (1956–1959), Cologne (1960–1964), and Paris (1966–1969). He subsequently served as Ambassador to Tokyo – with side accreditation to Seoul – from 1972 to 1978, followed by appointments to Canberra (1983–1987), The Hague (1987–1989), and Dublin (1989–1991).
