Terre de faïence, decor by brush. Length 51 cm, width 31 cm. Dated in the body, marked MADOURA PLEIN FEU EMPREINTE ORIGINALE DE PICASSO.
Executed in a limited edition of 100.
Occasional surface wear in the coloured decoration and minor craquelure. A few small stains.
Provenance
The film director Maunu Kurkvaara, thence within the family.
The art dish was purchased from one of the group exhibitions organised at Galerie Artek in Helsinki in the 1970s.
