Richly painted decoration in underglaze blue, enamel colours, and gold. Central motif of qilin, surrounded by borders with cranes, flowers, and landscapes. All pieces signed in underglaze blue. Comprising:
4 plates, 21.5 cm.
4 shallow bowls, 15.5 cm.
4 cups with saucers, saucers' diameter 11.5 cm.
8 bowls with four lids, diameter 11.5 cm.
4 cups, height 4.5, diameter 5.5 cm.
4 lids, 13 cm.
Receipt included.

Wear. Glaze spots and some firing defects including small firing cracks. A few small chips. One small cup with a crack. Four small Chinese dishes included.

Provenance

Purchased from an antique shop in Tokyo, Japan, in 1967. Receipt included.
