Mahogany and silver. The mounts are ornamented with stylised borders, corners with roses, sides with antiqued medallions, lid with a plaque inscribed with the initials HMN. The mounts are stamped IM (lacking a year mark but the master was active from 1807-1831). Interior fitted with a mirror and compartments. Inscribed inside "To Carl-Edvard von Rosen on his wedding day 18 10/8 87 from his sister." Length 24.5, width 15.5, height 9 cm.

Fittings with damages. Minor repairs and replacements.
