Claesson Koivisto Rune, a 'Bouquet' side table, Offecct, 2017.
Three flower-shaped discs of red, frosted plexiglass. Frame of chromed steel. Length 54 cm, width 46 cm, height 57 cm.
Minor wear. Marks.
The office of Claesson Koivisto Rune at Östgötagatan 50, Stockholm.
Only three tables of this model have been produced, introduced at the Stockholm Furniture Fair in 2017.
From an organically-shaped, reflective foot, three striving stems each hold up a flower with translucent, bright red petals. Standing alone it is a bouquet and when placed together they result in a flowering meadow.
‘Bouquet’, although highly decorative, is certainly functional.
