The larger decorated with seven cranes in flight in gold relief against a black ground, the interior decorated with rust-red lacquer. Height 8.5, 35.5 x 27.5 cm.
The smaller decorated with a standing crane beside bamboo, height 7, 18.5 x 20 cm.

Wear. Loss of lacquer.
