Camilla Løw, born in 1976 in Oslo, graduated from Asker Kunstskole in Norway in 1998 and later moved to Glasgow, where she studied at the Glasgow School of Art in 2001. She lived in Glasgow for six years but now resides and works in Oslo. Løw's works through formal specificity, be this a relation to a space or a material body. Her art explores constructivism and minimalism, focusing on basic geometric shapes that redefine space within the social psyche.
Her recent solo exhibitions include: Solo Presentation with ISCA at Market Art Fair, Stockholm (2023); Belmacz, London (2022 and 2019); ISCA, Oslo (2022); and Fullersta Gård, Huddinge (2018). Her latest group exhibitions include: Belmacz, London (2023); Vestfossen (2022); Nasjonalmuseet at Kunstnernes Hus (2021); and South London Gallery (2021).
